SANK GREEN ENERGY is one of 30 startups selected in Africa for Phase 2 of the CATAL1.5°T initiative.
CATAL1.5°T is a global initiative aimed at accelerating the transition to a net-zero future by supporting climate-related startups, businesses, and innovation ecosystems.
The CATAL1.5°T initiative is funded by the Green Climate Fund and the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), in collaboration with Climate-KIC, Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, and Investisseurs & Partenaires – I&P.
By joining Phase II, SANK GREEN ENERGY and the other 29 startups will receive a €15,000 grant and tailored training designed to meet their specific needs. The program will combine interactive workshops, peer-to-peer learning, and personalized mentoring to best support the startups’ development.
Furthermore, the CATAL1.5°T Phase II initiative includes fundraising opportunities with international investors at the end of the six-month program.
